Tasting Notes:

The base spirit is muscat of Alexandria Pisco purchased from Chile. It is pot-distilled.
Ingredients are green anise, fennel, & grande wormwood.
Very mellow. The green anise is less pungent than star-anise. Beautifully sweet and deceptively smooth for the proof. Nice mellow wormwood finish.
This is oxygenated for 1 month in chardonnay barrels, then heated to 120 degrees fahrenheit and colored with hyssop, petit wormwood (which is sweet and honey-like as opposed to the more-bitter grande wormwood), and lemon balm. This add much of the floral character to the product.
A beautiful-tasting well-crafted spirit!
