Perfumey spicey cane nose. Rich cedar on the nose. Toasted caramel. Honey from the Y'Quem as well. The front of the palate is rich oak and huge peppery spice. The Y'Quem comes through late with a bit of honey but it is overshadowed by oaky toast. The finish is dark caramel and earthy molasses.
