Tasting Notes:

"The exact recipes are a closely guarded secret, but there are up to 54 different plants used, most notably wormwood, but also hyssop, camomile, genepi, chincona bark and rose petals." - From Hous Alpenz website
Extremely pale yellow color that is almost clear.
The nose on this is very light but very beautiful. Extremely complex mix of botanicals on the nose. Most notably, herbal notes and earthy wormwood.
On the palate this is crisp and refreshing. The high percentage wine base is very apparent. The botanicals are well-integrated and complex. There are some nice herbal notes, chamomile, a slightly floral character, and big minerality.
A beautiful artisanal product.
