Tasting Notes:

Star Anise, Green Anise, Elderberries.
Dark rich purple color. Almost black with pretty purple fringes around the edge of the glass.
The anise is strong on the nose and almost peppery, that is complemented with a sweet note and a bit of a floral character.
Very thick and viscous on the palate. Richly sweet with sugar as the dominant flavor characteristic. Under that there are notes of anise, a bit of a menthol character, and a
slight bitter herb note.
Very sweet for the style, but easy to drink.
