The nose has prominent citrus and is very flowery. The juniper aroma is very subdued.
The palate is surprisingly bold versus the nose. There is a bold and tannic juniper component up front with a strong peppery character. A floral and a citrus peel note come through on the end of the palate and they are subtle.
This gin is very bold, almost like a genever. Surprising considering the vapor basket production method!
Well worth a try.
