Tasting Notes:

Toasty brown/amber color.
Big smoke and briny character on the nose but still with a big underlying sweet malt character.
The dominant character here is a very big nutty oak component. That fades to peat taking over a bit. There is an underlying sweet malt character and this is sweeter than many Islay whiskies.
This is a great smoky and nutty (almonds or walnuts) character and the smoke is subtle enough to be a great intro to smoke and peat.
Excellent whisky.
