50% Longmorn 50% Glen Moray
Aged in American bourbon, Longmorn is finished in tempranillo casks, Glen Moray is finished in Madeira casks.
Smells cereally and malty on the palate.
The tempranillo casking shows up front with a sibtle red wine taste. There is a rich clove spice and then the nutty madeira notes come through as you get to the finish.
The finish is long and the madeira shows strongly.
Overall a good, cereally malt with some very interesting notes from casking.
