Tasting Notes:

Bottle #2,524
Very pale gold with a touch of amber at the center.
The nose on this is much sweeter up front than the peppery nose of the plata version from this ranch. Soft pepper is still apparent, with sweet brown sugar aromas.
The oak on this shows up strong on the front of the palate. There is a good sweet agave character throughout the palate with brown sugar and some notes of apricot. The mid-palate becomes very dry and that carries through the finish, which has notes of earth, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg.
Great tequila, the most oaky of the 2009 Ocho releases.
