Tasting Notes:

5 years in new oak, 3 in used casks, finished with 8-12 year brandy in 80 percent port 20 percent sherry casks.
Rich amber with a slight garnet hue.
The nose is fresh apple with a touch of port sweetness and underlying peppery spice.
The first sensation on the palate is rich sweetness. This leads into layers of fresh fruit and oaky spices. There is a slightly nutty character as well.
Fades into pleasant notes of sweet fruit and vanilla.
Excellent Calvados in a rich and slightly spicy style.
