Tasting Notes:

Very pale amber-hued gold color.
Very rich cereally malty nose with slight salt and peat.
On the palate the cask strength is apparent. Bold up front with rich alcohol spice and big cereally grain. Peat is underlying the palate from the front through the finish and there is a salty note as well.
With water the nose opens up to show a bit more malty sweetness.
The peat and brine show through a little more with water and there is a rich backbone of malt.
A good mellow islay but the price is fairly substantial.
